Dear Clinton Community,

On behalf of the newly-elected Executive Board, I want to thank everyone for their encouragement as we whole-heartedly accept our new positions for the upcoming year. We are very excited for the 2008-2009 school year.

About a month ago, someone asked me why I was interested in taking on the commitment of being the PTSA President. The first thought that crossed my mind was why wouldn't I take it on. Being a former Clinton Cougar myself, I take pride in seeing my son experience Clinton School and all that it has to offer. I believe that we as parents and guardians have the responsibility to want the best for our children and the only way to make sure that happens is to be involved. I encourage everyone to be more involved, and your children will thank you. We as individuals can not do everything alone, but we as a community can accomplish anything. This has been proven time and time again. I strongly urge everyone, parents, guardians, grandparents, teachers and community members to join the Clinton PTSA. Our goal as PTSA members is to be advocates for our children and partners with their educators in order to afford the highest quality of education to our children.
