WELCOME TO MRS. COOKE’S CLASS

I’m looking forward to working with a new class this year! There are usually many questions that come up during the year. I hope this will answer some of them. You can always reach me by phone (825-3113) or email (elizabethc@blackfoot.net). Please feel free to contact me anytime.

Library books

Library books may be kept for one week. Library day is on Tuesday, so all books should be back by Tuesday morning.

Birthdays

Your child is very welcome to bring treats on his or her birthday. Also, please remember our policy: If you are sending birthday party invitations to school, there must be one for each child in the class.

Folders

Your child will bring a folder home every night. Please check it daily for notes, homework etc. You may use these folders to send in lunch money or notes to me. Folders must be brought back to school every morning.

Homework

Homework will be sent home one or two nights a week. You can help your child remember homework by checking the folder every night. Homework will be due back the following day.

Spelling

Your child will bring home a spelling list every Monday. It’s a good idea to practice these lists every night. Spelling tests will be on Friday. On occasion this schedule will change. I’ll let you know when this occurs.
