Welcome to 3rd Grade

Dear Third Grade Parents,

I am looking forward to working with your children this year. I encourage you to become involved in the classroom and school activities. School is an exciting place for a third grader and your child should enjoy sharing with you the events of the day. Please take the time to listen, to read the daily learning logs, and to sign the homework assignment sheets. This will keep you updated on your child's experiences, activities, and learning. If you have questions or concerns about your child please feel free to call me at school (825-3113) or email me at LPerry@clintoncoguars.com. Again, I am looking forward to teaching your child and learning from him or her.

Sincerely,

Lydia Perry

About Mrs. Perry

Hello. My name is Lydia Perry and I just wanted to introduce myself. This is my third year at Clinton, but I have been in the teaching profession for more than ten years. I grew up in Miami, FL, where I was able to appreciate the diversity of people and cultures. I then graduated from a small university in Ohio, where I received a B.A. in Education. From there, I moved to Seattle where I taught preschool. And as the journey of life continued, Missoula was the next destination. In Missoula and for many years, I was lovingly dubbed, “The School Marm,” while working for the Missoula Youth Homes. During that time, and currently, I work for Sylvan Learning Center. Currently, your child’s academic progress, social, and emotional well-being is my main concern.
